Essential packing services from the South East’s top removal company
At Bradbeers Removals and Storage, we know that one of the most challenging aspects of moving house – prior to your move, is the matter of packing up all of your belongings prior to Moving Day.
With our high-quality packing service, you can leave as much or as little of your packing to our experienced removals team, and let us take the stress out of your removal.
Here at Bradbeers Removals and Storage, we offer three different levels of service when it comes to packing up your belongings…
Full packing service
Our team will turn up and pack everything for you including fragile, all clothes the lot.
Fragile packing service
You might be happy doing the bulk of the packing yourself, but be concerned about your more fragile and delicate items. No need to worry: our team of packing experts will take good care of your belongings. Predominantly this will be china and glass but Whether its glassware, mirrors, fine porcelain, artwork, memorabilia, or anything else that requires care and attention in the move, we will see to it that it is carefully wrapped, expertly and securely loaded, and gently deposited at your new house.
No packing service
Of course, you might want to do it all yourself, and that’s fine too. We will supply wrapping and all materials necessary.
If you’re going to be doing all, or the bulk of your own packing, we can supply you with packing cartons, packing paper, and heavy-duty tape for wrapping up your various belongings. Please note that our packing cartons are loaned out to you for the duration of your move, and we will require them back once you’re done, in order that they may be reused by other customers.
Some common packing mistakes
If you’re packing your own belongings, be aware of these common packing pitfalls:
Not enough time
Start packing as soon as you have your moving date, even if it’s only a box or two a night. There’s nothing worse than moving day turning up and you not being ready to go
Not enough paper
We will supply you with plenty of wrapping paper, so there’s no need to be stingy with it. Your china and glassware need to be adequately protected during transit.
Packing and stacking
Filling packing cartons to the very brim and taping down the lid gives them more stability. This is very important when moving, as the cartons will be stacked on top of one another throughout the journey.
